This is our new skyboard for the Brettsterville Railroad

We started with 3/4" MDF and trimmed the top edge to look like the tops of clouds.
TIP: We used New London Industries cloud stencils as a guide for making them.
Using a simple electric jig saw we cut out the profile of the clouds.
One Tunnel Portal was cut out from the skyboard.

Skyboard primed gray
The color blue we chose for the sky required a coat of gray primer
for maximum color effect.  We used Behr S-G-550 d  Artesian Water

The color we chose will dry with a matte finish
In this photo the paint is still wet.

Our skyboard stands up in a slot cut into a 2x3 piece of wood.
This is our first cloud painting test
